Eligibility

l Non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport

l Under the age of 40

l Attained a master’s degree

l HSK 4.0 or above

l An above average final grade at least 2.5 in Chinese gradingsystem

How to Apply

The applicants must fill in and provide the following documentstruly, correctly and completely (in duplicates).

² SUS Application Form for International Students (check Downloadon our website) with a photograph affixed.  

² One photocopy of your valid passport.  

² A copy of Foreigner Physical Examination Form (check Download onour website) .

² One photocopy of your diploma and degree certificate (anotarized Chinese or English translation is demanded if the original version isin other languages). For those who are about to graduate, a certification ofexpected graduation is also acceptable).  

² One photocopy of your transcript of academic records during yourMaster’s study (a notarized Chinese or English translation is demanded if theoriginal version is in other languages).  

² Two photocopies of HSK certificate or BCT certificate forapplying Chinese-taught programs. Two photocopies of English proficiencycertificate for applying English-taught programs.

² Study plan or research proposal (check Download on our website),written in Chinese or English, which includes your education and workexperiences, research results and a study plan.  

² Recommendation letters (check Download on our website) inChinese or English from two professors or associate professors.  

² Application fee: 500 RMB or 80 USD  

NOTE: Allthe documents should be bound together on top left corner. You should submit TWOsets of bound documents to our university by posting or handing in duringJanuary 1 to May 31^st every year. A valid e-mail address is requiredfor good contact. The application materials will not be returned in any case.
